Waterproof & Easy to care for Baby Bibs

Our Baby Bib range consists of bibs for two separate purposes – we have a variety of feeding bibs made of silicone and other materials that are perfect for starting solid foods & learning to eat; as well as a range of dribble and bandana bibs made of organic cotton for the teething babies. In this article below, we will introduce you to our amazing range of feeding bibs.

Silicone Baby Bibs

Liewood silicone bibs are super practical, easy to clean and dishwasher safe. The bibs are made from 100% LFGB approved food-grade silicone & they are completely free of nasty chemicals. No BPA or phthalates in sight!

The bib has a deep spill pocket to catch any spillage & food that doesn’t make it into your child’s mouth. The bibs are made of comfortable & flexible silicone, that is easily adjustable and have a safe fastening feature. They rounded neckband provides a snug, yet comfy fit.

Liewood silicone bibs are easy to care for – you can simply wipe the baby bib with a damp cloth, rinse it under running water or pop it in your dishwasher at a low temperature (30°C).

This beautiful silicone bib is also water-repellent – there is no chance of any liquid soaking through the bib and ruining any clothes. Being water-repellent AND a fast drying material, the bib is ready for use again in just a few minutes. Head on over here for all the silicone bibs.

Baby Feeding Smock – the Merle Smock Bib

This bib truly is next level. If you have one of those kids with extra dramatic hand gestures and whose favourite mealtime activity is blowing raspberries, then this is a bib for you!

This Merle smock bib or sleeved bib as it’s also known, provides a lot more coverage than your regular bib. It is longer and comes with full length sleeves. The elastic at the end of the sleeves prevent food from going up their sleeves (and yes, that is a real possibility in case you are a newbie mum!).

The smock bib is made of recycled polyester and hence it is waterproof. It also has a pocket to catch the bits that don’t make it to your child’s mouth (long distance travel!) which makes it perfect for toddlers learning to self feed!

This smock bib is perfect for both feeding as well as arts & crafts. It is so easy to care for – the lightweight fabric is convenient and instantly re-usable: simply rinse or wipe with a damp cloth. You can even chuck it in the washing machine – polyester dries quickly so the bib will be ready to use in no time!

Suitable from 0+ months, quick to put on & remove. You can find the Smock bibs here.

The Extra long Lai Bib

If the smock bib is not for you (some fussy little humans might not be the biggest fans of sleeves or putting it on), then give this extra long Lai bib a go.

Lai bibs are very similar to our smock bibs – they are waterproof, lightweight, comfy to wear & easy to clean. You can pretty much just wipe down with a damp cloth, rinse it or put it in the washing machine (low temperature) – it dries super quickly so it will be ready to use again in no time.

Similarly to the Smock bib it has a pocket to catch the bits that don’t make it to your child’s mouth (long distance travel!) which makes it perfect for toddlers learning to self feed! Check out all the Lai bibs here.
