Miss A’s Nursery Reveal featuring the Cam Cam Copenhagen range – by Belle Abode

Today we’d like you to introduce you to Youla, the blogger & Instagrammer also known as Belle Abode – a mother of 3, a home decor enthusiast & an nursery organiser extraordinaire!

Everything in Youla’s home exudes Hamptons and the room for her third baby is no different. For Little Miss A’s room Youla chose some products from our range and today, we are happy to share the final outcome with you.

The main design direction Youla wanted to take with this nursery besides being Hamptons inspired, was to create a space that is whimsical, white and very girly.

The main features of the space are definitely the intricate wallpaper and the huge window with gorgeous plantation shutters. Having said that, even the so called ‘gap-fillers’ – all the little details – are so well thought-out & match one another perfectly. So, without further ado – let’s take a look at the final result Youla created!

As the main shades Youla used for Miss A’s Nursery were white, nude, light pink and rose, this Cam Cam Copenhagen’s hot air balloon music mobile in blossom pink matched the colour scheme perfectly.

The Cam Cam Copenhagen storage baskets seen on the dresser come in the exact same shade of blossom pink so they are ideal for tying different areas of the same room together. The nursery storage baskets actually come in sets of 2 and are reversible as they have a different pattern on the inside.

For the changing station Youla opted to use a dresser that she has had for years and that she has used with all of her 3 girls. This beautiful changing station is a good example of how it is not always necessary to buy a dedicated changing table – a well placed tallboy, sideboard or a dresser that works with the style of the room can be just as good from design perspective. Youla chose the adorable Dandelion Rose printed change mat by Cam Cam Copenhagen for her change area. It works absolutely perfectly with the room, doesn’t it?

Youla has used the second, larger of the two Cam Cam Copenhagen storage baskets as a feature on this gorgeous white shelf – it is working so well as a design element as well as providing the obvious value of being a storage space.

And last but not least – Youla also got the Cam Cam Copenhagen Dandelion Rose baby nest. This, being the same style as the changing mat is another good choice to help tie the room together. By repeating the same pattern elsewhere in the space it is easy to create familiarity and cosiness. And oh my how cosy is this!

PS. Please note, we do not recommend using the baby nest for overnight sleeping in the cot – only for daytime supervised naps & chilling. Read more about safe sleeping spaces for babies on the Red Nose website here.
