About Liewood
Liewood is a Danish company providing bamboo tableware, organic textile products and more for the modern family. The Copenhagen-based company was founded in the summer of 2015 by Anne Marie Lie Nielsen – a veteran of the fashion industry with 15 years of experience in the fashion industry with design, sourcing and production for international retail brands. With the vision of a design-forward kids brand focused on functionality, fine lines and simple details, Liewood was born. Being a mum of small children, Anne Marie was very much in sync with the demands of contemporary family life and brought this understanding to her design of Liewood’s products.

Liewood takes a 360-degree approach to manufacturing has an uncompromising and ethical approach to manufacturing. An environmentally sustainable business model should extend from production and manufacturing practices to the materials used to produce the product. This includes things like recycled fabric, natural wood, GOTS-certified organic cotton, and naturally-sourced dyes and textiles. Liewood checks every box on the sustainable production list with textile products that are GOTS-certified, natural wood products, and always sourcing from the best possible materials that have passed strict demands and quality control from the drawing table to store shelf.
